Did you see us BBC One last night?
If not, catch us up on BBC iPlayer now!
Last night our founders Adele and Rasmus Andersen pitched our audio fitness adventure Apocalypse Survival Training (AST) to millionaire investors Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies, Deborah Meaden, Tej Lalvani and Theo Paphitis on Dragons’ Den UK, aired on BBC One.
At the time of recording, October 2020, AST had its own fitness app, also called Apocalypse Survival Training, which has since been retired and replaced with a shiny new fitness app called Imaginactive (more of that in another blog - what a confusion!).
We had a storming opening with klaxons blaring, flashing lights and our own Dramatic Voice Over (Neil Wease) announcing ‘Warning: Imaginactive system over-ride Initiated’. The production team absolutely loved our audio opening and did an amazing job of creating a very unique and dramatic opening - which was briefly seen in the segment and was made into a gif by the official BBC Dragons’ Den Twitter account.
Not much of the pitch made it into the edit as we had only a very short segment of 3.5 minutes but we were so thrilled Neil’s fantastic performance made the cut!
If you’d like to hear the full 90s audio we played the Dragons, pop on some headphones, have a listen and let us know what you think! It is essential to wear HEADPHONES to listen, to be able to experience the super immersive surround binaural audio - exactly the same as we've made our story-based audio fitness adventure Apocalypse Survival Training in!
Look out for the next instalments about how we ended up on the show (we are still amazed that we did!!) and then what happened on day!
